BOROUX foundation.™ Black Filter - Single replacement

It is our privilege to offer the BOROUX Foundation™ filter as the optimal replacement for all BOROUX/Berkey system owners. The BOROUX Foundation™ filter is made in the USA by the same formulator as the Berkey BB9 black filters. Beyond fitting seamlessly with all Berkey models, they also fit most other gravity-fed water filtration systems including: ProOne®, Alexapure Pro, Doulton, Patriot Pure Ultimate, and more. The black carbon filter elements are equipped with patented Stem Saver technology for added durability during handling and cleaning. BOROUX has additionally secured independent testing to meet NSF/ANSI/CAN standards, the highest level of trust in water filtration. Lead-Free Guarantee (NSF/ANSI/CAN 372). The suggested filter life is 6,000 US gallons per filter.

Please Note: Most gravity-fed water filtration systems require two filters to operate. This single filter replacement is intended for customers who need to replace one filter from an existing set—for example, if a filter is accidentally damaged during handling or cleaning. • Filter Capacity: Up to 6,000 gallons per filter depending on the quality of the influent water.

• Composition: Filters are comprised of a specialized blend of activated carbon. The BOROUX Foundation filters contain silver, an antimicrobial agent, to prevent microorganisms from degrading the product itself. This filter is not intended to filter microorganisms.
• Compatibility: Fits most gravity-fed water filtration systems and fluoride filters.
• Warranty Coverage: BOROUX Foundation filters are protected by a 1-year quality warranty.
• Maintenance: Scrub the BOROUX Foundation filters every 3-6 months. Using an abrasive scouring pad, carefully scrub the surface of the filters for several minutes. DO NOT use soap or detergents on the filters. Re-prime the filters, install, and perform the red dye test to ensure proper installation of the filters.
